OLLIE CANHAM

Winner of the 2023 Eddie Harvey Award for Jazz Arrangers 

Ollie Canham is a guitarist/composer from north London now based in Birmingham.

​

He has just completed his final year studying jazz at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and was awarded a First Class Honours Degree.

​

In June 2023, Ollie won the Mike Gibbs Composition and Arranging Prize for his big band chart 'Near' and in 2022, he and bassist Adam Roberts co-won the Phil Miller Guitar Prize.

​

Ollie is currently working on an album of original music for quartet and big band with a focus on combining math rock and jazz.
